Allan Gray foreign funds to close to new investments

We have received notification that two Allan Gray South African registered foreign funds, the Allan Gray Orbis Global Equity Feeder Fund and the Allan Gray Orbis Global Fund of Funds will close for new investments today.

Allan Gray have applied to the South African Reserve Bank for further capacity in these funds. As soon as this is granted, the funds will be re-opened. Foreign exchange regulations grant asset management companies the right to invest 25% of their South African registered assets under management offshore. These relative percentages are constantly monitored by the Reserve Bank. 

The Allan Gray foreign funds do not accept debit orders.
