Investment Solutions appoints Imtiaz Ahmed as deputy CIO

Investment Solutions has announced the appointment of Imtiaz Ahmed as deputy chief investment officer, effective from 1 January 2006

Imitaz Ahmed has been in the asset management industry in South Africa for over fourteen years. In his previous position as executive director (head of external clients) at Stanlib Asset Management he was responsible for assets in excess of R50 billion. It was during this time that a mutual respect developed between Ahmed and Investment Solutions.

In his new position, Ahmed will report directly to Glenn Silverman, global chief investment officer and will be responsible for focusing on the South African business.

Investment Solutions is South Africa’s leading multi-manager. At 30 September, South African assets under management exceeded R99 billion.
