What is the contractual relationship between the Equinox Retirement Annuity and Preservation Funds and Equinox as the administrator of the funds?

The majority of the board of trustees of the retirement funds is independent of Equinox.co.za. They are obliged to ensure that the administration and costs of the service delivered by Equinox.co.za as the administrator are in the best interests of fund members and comply with the law.

The trustees of the Equinox Retirement Funds and Equinox.co.za, as the administrator, have a Service Level Agreement which requires Equinox.co.za to administer the retirement funds according to certain criteria, such as turn-around times and costs.
