We are also pleased to announce that we have revised our fees on our newly launched EQUINOX Managed Portfolios. Investors in these portfolios will NOT incur any switching fees when the underlying funds are changed.

Investing in Offshore Unit Trusts: Latest Trends
South Africans over the age of 18 and in good standing with the Receiver of Revenue have been permitted to invest a maximum of R750 000 offshore since March 1999. Many South Africans have chosen to invest their offshore allowance in unit trusts, of which there are an estimated 30 000.

Read this well written analysis of the current bond environment
Bonds have been neglected by South African investors for two reasons: they do not perform well in a high inflation environment, and in the past they have been less tax- friendly than equities. Perhaps the ground rules have changed.

Comment on the AUT/ Persfin Raging Bull Award Ceremony
