How do I go about transferring my unit trust investments to Equinox?

There are three simple steps:

1. Register Online

If you are not already registered with us, take a couple of minutes to register yourself online now.

TRANSFER FORM

2. Complete our Transfer Form

Print out and fill in our Transfer Form. Then sign and fax it through to us on011-388 3223, together with a recent statement from your management company.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

3. Send Us Identification and Address Documents.

We will start transferring your unit trust investments as soon as we have your completed Transfer Form. However, before we can act upon any further instructions, we will need proof of identity and address documentation from you.

And that's it!

(Note: some companies may be reluctant to transfer your investments, and may cite legal barriers or the threat of penalty fees. However, they are legally obliged to transfer your assets at your request. Please call us if you experience problems and we will pursue enquiries on your behalf.)

How much will the transfer cost?

A transfer will cost you nothing!

How long will the transfer take?

Generally, 4 working days. After that, you'll be able to log in anytime and transact. However, it does depend to an extent on the company that is currently administering your unit trusts - and sometimes on the funds that you are invested in.
