Fund Overview

Objectives: The Investec Growth Fund objective is to achieve capital growth through focused investment in the equity market. The fund manager selects investments through a structured process that evaluates the future eaning growth potential, rate of growth, management, competitive position and market share of the company. 

Benchmark: FTSE/JSE All Share Index

Universe: The fund manager aims to identify growth opportunities that occur amongst medium capitalisation companies. These shares tend to have less risk than small-cap stocks and the risk profile of the fund is therefore moderate.

Other: Investors should invest in the B class of this fund. The R class is available for viewing so that the longer performance history of the R class fund can be evaluated. The assets of the Fedsure General Growth Fund were merged with the Investec Growth fund on October 1st, 2001, following the merger of the two companies.
